3. Overview

The OSHA and NCTE Alliance focuses on providing NCTE affiliates and others with information, guidance, and access to OSHA resources that will help them protect the health and safety of workers, particularly by: (1) helping to ensure adequate access to workplace restrooms, and (2) understanding the rights of workers and the responsibilities of employers under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act).

The following table summarizes the Alliance's activities in support of the goals in the Alliance agreements for the evaluation period of this report.

Outreach and Communication: Review, promote and disseminate the OSHA-developed bulletin of recommended best practices for restroom access for transgender workers.

Dissemination	NCTE promoted OSHA's Guide to Restroom Access for Transgender Workers via social media. NCTE generally has between 3000 and 5000 impressions per post on its Facebook channel. The post about the OSHA guide received 55,000 impressions, nearly 1000 "Likes", 450 shares and 206 comments.
