    4. Alliance Overview and Goals

      The Alliance focuses on general industry and construction safety education and training for the BEGIN Center's incubator businesses. The Participants work together to achieve the following training and education goals:

      • To develop effective training and education programs for The BEGIN Center clients and incubator businesses regarding workplace safety and health, and to communicate such information to constituent employers and workers.
      • To develop effective training and education programs The BEGIN Center to promote understanding of worker's rights, including the use of the OSHA complaint process, and the responsibilities of employers and to communication such information to workers and employers.
      • To deliver or arrange for the delivery of basic hazard recognition and/or OSHA 10-hour courses

      The Participants work together to achieve the following outreach and communication goals:

      • To work with other Alliance participants on specific issues and projects that addressed and developed through the Alliance Program.
  2. Implementation Team Meetings

    The implementation team did not conduct formal Implementation Team Meetings during this evaluation period. Alliance coordinators from both groups maintained regular contact throughout the reporting period to monitor the Alliance's progress and results.
