This directive provides OSHA offices, interested industry representatives, State Plans and federal agencies with guidance concerning the implementation of the Whistleblower Investigation Manual (WIM) and the handling of retaliation complaints under the various whistleblower statutes delegated to OSHA in discrimination investigations. The directive supersedes the September 20, 2011, Directive.
