From May 19, 2011, until September 30, 2014, OSHA implemented a three-year NEP on primary metal industries with required inspection goals. As of October 1, 2014, this Instruction discontinue the required programmed inspection goals, but retained inspection procedures, citation guidance, and outreach information for continued reference to ensure to address the health-related hazards in these industries.
