Title: The Pattern of Needlestick Injuries Type: Text Slide Content: First, let's take a look at the risk of exposure among health care workers. In order to evaluate exposure risk, we first look at the pattern that the majority of needlestick injuries follow. We'll answer the following questions: 1. Who is injured most frequently? Many studies have been done to answer these questions. The data presented here comes from research done at the University of Virginia by Dr. Janine Jagger and the International Health Care Worker Safety Center and from research done by the CDC. |
