    Content: Fully designed respirator program in accordance with OSHA standards must be implemented and followed.

    Speaker Notes: However, it must always be remembered that such protective equipment has a major limitation: it can create a false sense of security, because it does nothing to control the hazard itself. Therefore, should a protective device fail or be used improperly, the wearer is exposed immediately to the hazard. That is why a fully designed respirator program in accordance with OSHA's respiratory protection standard, must be implemented and followed.
